Tallest Tower

Japan's biggest new Landmark and the tallest tower Tokyo Skytree has been the latest  entrant in the attraction sphere to leave the crowd  looking amazed  at the structure.The tower stands 634 meters in height and the visitors who managed to get in there got a panoramic view of the city from the top.
The SkyTree was built  to serve as a broadcast tower for television and radio.It is also considered to be an observation tower located at Sumida in Tokyo,Japan.
Due to many high rise buildings around  the original Tokyo Tower was unable to relay digital television broadcasting.This reason steered the purpose to build the Tokyo Skytree almost double the height of the old Tokyo Tower.The project got completed on February 29,2012 and was officially opened on May 22,2012.
Considering Japan has  frequent Earthquakes occurrences  this tower has  seismic proofing and the central shaft is made  up of reinforced concrete.The main pillar is attached t the outer tower structure  125 meters above the ground.Till 375 meters the pillar is attached to the tower frame with oil dampers which act as cushions during the quake.
The tower is designed by Nikken  Sekkei and developed by Tobu Railway .
