Mac Donald chain of   restaurants  and  their famous Hamburger  go almost hand in hand and have become so synonymous for us that whenever we think of having a burger it is mostly  the nearest  Mac Donald outlet that comes to our mind .So in a way Mac Donald have immortalized  the burger and their brand value .Yes munching on a burger would really make you put on some calories for diet freaks and health watchers.But for foodies it is a real treat to your taste buds.And this was exactly Serendipity 3 the restaurant at New York city wanted to cash on a high note.The restaurant not new to high class ventures hit the record headlines  some time back with the most expensive ice cream sundae has again come in the news for delivering the most expensive hamburger.The burger named 'Le Burger Extravagant ' was  priced at US $295.It contains Japanese waygu beef,10 herb white truffle butter,smoked pacific sea salt,a quail egg,shaved black truffles,18 month cheddar  and a white truffle buttered roll .The most exotic in the burger's ingredient is the edible solid gold encrusted toothpick holding the whole thing together which is the actual reason for the burger to show a steamed up price tag.
This idea was fueled  by Serendipity 3 to help the Bowery Mission to feed the hungry from the proceeds of the sale of this expensive burger.The mission was to help the hungry and the homeless in New York.So the concept of indulging in  luxury also has a philanthrophic purpose attached to it.'Eat the burger and help the hungry or donate the burger to the hungry ' was the  noble objective behind this grand treat.The Burger was launched on May 22,2012 when it became a record and a news to share among gossip mongers.
