A resident of Modinagar ,Ghaziabad,Uttar Pradesh,India took it upon himself to serve food in the biggest crockery. If that didn't quite convince you he has managed to serve food at his Deewan-E-Khas restaurant on a thali measuring 8ft in diameter,4 bowls each 2.5 in diameter,1 soon 3.5 ft long and one glass 4.5 ft in height. The total crockery without the food weighed 55 Kg.He had some delicious menu served on the mega grand thali which consisted of Dal Makhni,Boondi raitha, rice, chapathi, Kadhai paneer,Malai Kofta, pickles and salad. The chapathis were 2 ft in diameter served on the thali. Two others along with Ankit also were involved in making this giant crockery. It took them 40 days to complete the project.
The event took place on June 12,2011.This has helped Ankit and his team gain wide popularity by creating a record.
