To mark the Diamond Jubilee of the Queen soldiers from seven different military units were dressed in full ceremonial uniform to add grand fanfare to the Buckingham Palace celebrations.The 91 trumpeters played the wedding fanfare which resonated all round at Wellington Barracks.The trumpeters played the song of Arthur Bliss which lasted for 1 minute and 34 seconds.
The Trumpeters were made up of the Welsh Guards,the Royal Marines,Royal Artillery,Irish Guards,Coldstream Guards,Scot Guards and Grenadier guards all of whom participated came from various military regiments.The attempt was staged by Victoria Business Improvement Districts (VBID) to celebrate the close links it shares with the Royal Family.The chief of VBID asserted that this was to showcase the cultural activity and wealth of Victoria.This depicted the fantastic and original way of celebration at West London.
Britain the land known for its pomp and grandeur to stage events left no stones unturned to show off its talents.Even political figures also turned up to witness the event.This attempt promises to be of lasting significance as it glorifies the Queen's six decades of tenure in reigning the throne.
