We come across matching collection of dresses while staging a dance drama,skits,dramatizations,theatre or may be even for a film shooting.So that accounts for the reel world.But what we are trying to say is something that has been happening in real times and that too has become a part of their wardrobe collection.
It is a true story about Mel and Joey Schwanke.The couple married for the past 65 years and have been wearing matching outfits for more than 35 years.This has been the couple's tip for their happy marriage.This sets the couple apart from others because especially in the west we see couples going together for a brief time and part ways due to misunderstandings,disputes,not getting time to spend with each other etc.
But Mel and Joey Schwanke can reach out to all those who are facing trouble in their marriage and give them some food for thought.
The couple from a small city outside Omaha, Nebraska, has 146 custom-made, matching outfits. And they never leave the house unless they are dressed in the same pattern.
It's one thing that has helped keep them so close through six and a half decades working side-by-side at a flower shop they own in Fremont.This helps them to be together and stay connected always.Mel's tie, and often his jacket, are cut from the same cloth used for Joey's dresses. The outfits are usual floral-themed, a reference to their business .The idea to wear matching outfits struck to them when they had been on a vacation and now with over 35 years has become more of a habit and obsession.
Now that was really a sweet story and we decided to take it further as they made the news on May 29,2012 in Nebraska,Fremont,California,United States of America.
